Nothing auto-merges.
Agents do the reading, drafting and checking. Every change arrives as something a human signs off — because the work being automated is work somebody is accountable for.
Rules-based automation stops exactly where judgement starts, which in professional services is most of the interesting work. Agents cross that line — they read the case, draft the position, check it against what has been decided before.
What they never do is commit it. Every output lands as a proposal in front of somebody who is accountable for it. That constraint is not a limitation we are working around; it is what makes the automation adoptable at all.
